Rhule Says Huskers Offense Dominated Saturday’s Scrimmage

Matt Rhule called Saturday’s scrimmage the most dominant day Nebraska’s offense has ever had at a practice during his tenure.

Rhule said there were lots of touchdowns and explosive plays and only one fumble late by the third string.  “In all fairness, we aren’t hitting the quarterback and I’m letting a lot of plays extend,” Rhule admitted.  “The ability to throw and catch the ball and guys making plays after the catch has been good….We had one long explosive run, but on offense by far the best day we’ve ever had since I’ve been here.”

The Huskers continue with spring practice Tuesday and wrap it up this Saturday with the Red-White spring game.
