Team Results, Gold Medals in Lakeview Track Invite

The Lakeview track and field invite was held Tuesday.
The Vikings girls team won with Aquinas second and Scotus third. The Shamrocks won the boys meet, edging Lakeview 128-122.
Vikings girls who won gold medals were Blake Barcel in the 100 and 200 meter dash, Elle Badstieber in the 400 meters, Laura Bargen in the high jump, Hadley Hornung in the long jump, Erinn Briggs in the shot put and discus, and the 400 meter relay team. Scotus’ girls did not win a gold medal.
Shamrocks boys who won gold medals included Cohen Pelan in the 200 meter dash, Owen Lindhorst in the 400, Jude Maguire at 800, and three relay teams. Lakeview’s Eli Escen won the 3200 meter run, while Jaden McFarland won the 110 meter hurdles.
